“…For in him we live and move and have our being.” -Acts 17:26-28

“From one man he made every nation of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live. God did this so that men would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, through he is not far from each of us.  For in him we live and move and have our being” (Acts 17:26-28).

It’s about action.  It’s about going deep and drinking from the Spirit, who quenches our thirst.  There’s no time to sit back and relax.  We must seek the Lord and reach for Him.  And there’s an amazing promise that comes with seeking and reaching.  If we seek and reach, we will find Him.  God wants us to find Him.

“‘Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.  You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.  I will be found by you,’ declares the Lord…” (Jeremiah 29:12-13).

“For in him we live and move and have our being” (Acts 17:28).  This is what we were created for.  We were created to be one with God, just as Jesus is one with God.  It’s like being submerged in the ocean.  Every part of our being is soaked and drenched in Him.

“…I (Jesus) pray also for those who will believe in me through their message (disciples’), that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you.  May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.  I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may one as we are one:  I in them and you in me.  May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you have sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me” (John 17:20-23).

What are you searching for?  What are you thirsting for?  I hope it’s Jesus.  I hope it’s more of the Lord.  If we want to know God more, then we must step to the edge and we must jump.  Let’s Jump Into The Lord and let’s go deep into Him!
